Texas State Technical College Workforce Development has been providing superior training programs through collaborative partnerships with business, industry, service organizations and higher education agencies for 50 years. The Workforce Development staff helps clients establish specialized, custom training programs, often with the newest technologies and/or production systems available. These training programs are designed to update and improve employees' current skills, knowledge and abilities, or to prepare new employees to enter your workforce.
Training can take place at a variety of locations, using many forms and formats, including on campus, client's location, partner campus, commercial location - such as conference center, or even "virtually" as distance education (developed on a requested basis). TSTC also offers flexible scheduling to accommodate clients' operations, including evening and weekend classes, or multiple shift training sessions.
TSTC's Workforce Development is efficiently and quickly reshaping the face of the Texas and national workforce to meet the high-tech challenges of today’s global economy. Among the strengths of TSTC’s success is the emphasis on “learning-by-doing” and “project-based learning." Trainees are provided the hands-on opportunity to apply state-of-the art technology, in real-world and laboratory-based experiences.
Additionally, Workforce Development & Continuing Education Business Relationship Managers provide consulting services to help identify the clients’ individual training requirements.
