Decide your own path
Diesel service technicians bring the power! They repair and maintain diesel engines that power equipment to haul needed goods across the country. They can also work on heavy vehicles and mobile equipment like bulldozers, farm tractors or combines. This career offers many different options; you can even learn to repair diesel-powered passenger automobiles, light trucks or boats.
Graduates receive a degree in Diesel Equipment Technology that qualifies them as entry-level diesel equipment technicians. Thanks to partnerships with industry leaders who help shape TSTC’s curriculum and hire our graduates, most students receive employment by the end of their last semester. Chevron, Halliburton and John Deere are among the companies that have hired our graduates in the past.
