In remembrance of all who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country, TSTC campuses and offices will be closed on Monday, May 29th. We will re-open on Tuesday, May 30th during regular business hours.

Computer & Information Technology

From programming, to learning how to do computer networking, to becoming a cybersecurity wizard, TSTC has all the right connections.

Computers run the world, but as we all know, they often need to be repaired by humans. Jobs in coding, networking and systems administration are needed in all industries where computer technology is used. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs in Information Technology are growing well above average rates of all other occupations, with 11% growth expected from 2019 to 2029. These are jobs that pay well — for example, the average salary for an IT technician is $64,583 in Texas. Not too shabby!
